The team is new and aspires to help other team in the bank to test out cutting-edge data and AI technologies.

Take the example of Kelvin, our intern:
• Typical morning starts with chat with the manager about the result from last night’s run by the machine (machine never sleeps) as well as plan for the day. Brainstorming hypothesis on ways to improve model performance are discussed and implement immediately.
• During the day, different batches of data are run by the machine and from time to time external resources (journals or websites such as stakeoverflow) are consulted.
• At around 5pm, plan for the overnight run is agreed.
• By the time Kelvin left the office, program is tested and run for the night.

Hours expectation 工時

Depends on Project, urgency of tasks and progress.

Unnecessary Over-Time is not encouraged as it kills creativity in problem solving.

 

Are any specific professional qualifications / other skills sets required or preferred? If so please specify 特別技能

Anything that can demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit and the technical skills to execute. e.g. CFA (any level), or wins in pitching competition, final year project related to Python, Computer Vision, Computational Linguistics etc
