“Because of the following:
– Size of office too small
– Too many admin/secretary/prop man stuffs to do, not so much analyst-related duties to handle/no focus in analysis. (Internship in there is ok but not for full time)
– Every task need to be timed and the time limit for each task is super tight, the pace is similar to working in IBD/PE but the remuneration is even worse than a general officer in any sizable company (>20 persons) in any sector but the company claims that they are PE investment house.
– Working atmosphere is pressurized and with a lot of gossips, the team does not like to use e-mail to communicate.
– Every dollar/paper spent need to take care of, otherwise will be [redacted]. (Saving money is the first principle) and there are a lot of “strange” rules comparing with other companies within investment field.
– Company expect the staff do extra works outside job descriptions. [redacted]
– Need to reply messages during Sat/Sun in the chat group instantly.
