“This is an one year non civil-sercvant contract. You will work under close supervision by the top judges of Hong Kong (and overseas Law Lords when they are here) on high quality commercial cases (usually both parties are represented by ifirms and SCs). The year spent will be extremely intense but the training you get can easily equal to 2 years or more in reputable chambers / litigation teams in international firms. “Graduates” of the programme usually eventually become tenants in reputable chambers (temple/dvc) or litigation associates in Magic Circle firms or US firms”– Anonymous – 21.6.2023
工作範圍 Scope of Work：
“1. Assist judges (both Permanent and Non-Permanent Judges) in substantial legal research and writing relating to various matters. The great thing about working in the HKCFA is that you may have the chance to work with overseas NPJs (such as Lord Collins, Lord Neuberger etc)
2. Provide a preliminary written advice on leave and appeal cases. Often this requires a close examination of the parties’ cases and lower courts’ decisions, and great attention to procedural issues.
