“I met the partner in the first interview, I was being asked a lot of questions about my education experience and my interest towards the firm. I was asked to answer in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. However, the partner asked me inevitable questions about my family. The partner asked about my parent’s jobs and he kept asked about my parents which I think they are irrelevant to my application.
To my disappointment, the partner only briefly introduced his firm and he did not mention any details of the job requirements. Besides, he did not tell me how long shall I wait for the result of my application.
To be honest, the partner did not seem to show sincerity towards my interview. It seemed that the partner just wanted to find someone to have fun with him.”
