Vocation Placement Scheme 是什麼？ VPS in CC?
“CC runs three (3) vacation schemes annually;
- A winter scheme (four weeks across January and February) which is aimed at students on their Summer Break in Australia. On average, CC recruits between 6-8 students for our winter scheme;
- two [Summer] schemes across June and July which is aimed at students attending other universities such as those in Hong Kong and the UK. On average, CC recruits between 10-12 students for each of the summer intakes.
During the 4-week scheme, you will sit in two different practice areas, working with lawyers on real, live client projects.
As a part of the scheme, candidates will also take part in a Assessment Centre and Interview which offers the opportunity to secure a training contract ready for when they graduate.
You will also receive HK$10,000 salary for the 4-week scheme”

“Applications for our Winter Vacation Scheme [2020] will run from [6 – 24 January 2020]. This scheme is aimed at students studying in Australia or New Zealand.
Applications for Summer [2020] Vacation Schemes will open on [2 September 2019]: Block 1: [1 – 26 June 2020 and Block 2: 29 June – 24 July 2020]
The first stage of the application process is an online application form. If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited to take part in a telephone interview with a partner and member of the graduate HR team. This interview comprises a number of elements, including a commercial case study. If you are successful after your telephone interview, you will be offered a position on our scheme.
If you also consider to apply for CC’s TC, there is a section within the online vacation scheme application which asks if you would like to be considered for the relevant year’s training contract – if you indicate “yes”, you do not need to apply separately for a training contract position.”

“In the case of direct application, if your online written application is successful you will take part in a series of assessments that include
- a video interview;
- critical thinking test;
- assessment centre; and
- panel interview.
Applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in the Assessment Day. AD consists of
- verbal reasoning test;
- a Chinese language test; and
- two written commercial exercises.
- Should you pass the assessment, you will be invited for an interview, where you will meet with some of our partners and have the opportunity to ask questions.
